As a public charter school, we receive approximately 25% less in funding than our counterpart public schools. Layer on top of that the COVID-19 pandemic, and the school projects federal, state and local funding is at risk. This means fewer dollars to stretch even further. Funds previously allocated for academics, fine arts, athletics, technology and student services must now also be used to support management costs around safety.
